It was an honor to be selected as a judge for the annual Hayes Elementary Spelling Bee. It is always fun to visit my sons' old stomping grounds.
My team and I are thrilled to have sponsored and participated again in the City of Kennesaw's annual Fall-O-Ween Fest on Saturday, October 14th.
We had a free raffle drawing and we sold popcorn. All proceeds went to mailing care packages to deployed service members.
We had a blast in previous years, and so did our families! There is a Monster Mash Dance Party, where judges will award prizes every hour for their favorite costumes....so everyone dress up! There are carnival games, trick or treating, children's amusements and family fun!
A Huge Thank You to our Military Care Package Drive Participants!
We are so grateful for those that attended our annual Military Care Package Drive last Thursday and for the generous financial donations!
We could not have made this year's drive a success without the wonderful support of these amazing folks and businesses.

I am so very grateful for everyone that donated their time, school supplies and made cash donations in support of our nation's youngest heroes, our local military kiddos. We were able to double our donations this year for our 5th annual military student school supply drive. The school supplies supported the Georgia National Guard families.

Thank you so much to Silverton Mortgage for helping make our complimentary movie event, in honor of April being the Month of the Military Child, happen last Saturday! We are so very grateful to our service members and their families and we love supporting the Georgia National Guard. Christine Schwartz. The Smurfs movie was a favorite of a lot of the cutie pie military children. Thank you to NGC of Acworth for being so wonderful to these military families.
This is an annual golf tournament supporting the Silverton Foundation. We are proud to be a sponsor of this event. The Silverton Foundation raises money to pay the mortgage or rent for the parents of chronically or critically ill children. Often they can't work when health issues cripple their child and may be evicted if they don't receive financial help.
You can still make a donation to this worthy cause. All monies go to the families and none is deducted for management or marketing fees.
Wow! Our military care package operation was a HUGE success! This was definitely our largest one so far. We built 131 care packages that will be sent to military members who are currently stationed overseas! We wanted to send a BIG thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped spread the word! BounceU & Staff and Aqua Tots & Staff - our longtime partners in this event. We couldn't collect as much as we do without their help. Dickerson Heating and Air for paying to ship all of the packages!
